I received my art education at University of Washington, have worked in the illuminated manuscript department for the Getty Institute in LA and the Huntington Library , as well as research work at the Morgan Library in New York City. I grew up in Europe having lived in Germany, England and Switzerland where I fell in love with the art of illuminated manuscripts. I now make my living doing art restoration and illumination commissions in my studio since retiring recently from the Getty Institute. It is truly my passion and love.
