“Feeling love” is at the core of my work around the Goddess Project. It is the innate need in us all that is the driving force in the message written on the bottom of all my pieces which reads “You are loved.” “It is in a moment sometime soon after I begin that I see her. It’s a conversation between me and the clay at first, but then it’s just between her and I. Though it is a true argument who is leading this dance I do with the Goddess, I gladly surrender.” Art began for me through my love of denim, turning clothing into wearable art in my head a million times until I just had to do it for real! I began hand building with clay in the late 90’s, later realizing I see things in the world differently because of it. I am inspired to create things that lift people up through my art and the human need to feel loved.
